Math Interventionist (Certified-Elementary)

Freedom Preparatory Academy Charter Schools is seeking a compassionate Math Academic Interventionist to assist teachers with classroom lessons, activities, organization, and management, as well as assist students with Math instruction.

Requirements

• Teach and coordinate Tier 2 & 3 intervention for target students
• Facilitate the management and interpretation of data necessary to develop, implement and evaluate Tier 1, 2 & 3 interventions
• Communicate and collaborate professionally with teammates, parents, and community members to assist in coordination of intervention services for target students
• Analyze informal and formal student assessment results to measure students’ growth towards goals and to monitor students mastery of the content standards
• Maintain high expectations for students academic achievement and conduct
• Results-driven educational leader with a commitment to standards-based curriculum and the use of data and assessments to drive instructional decisions
• Value and draw upon students’ experiences and backgrounds
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies based on the diverse needs of all the students that engage all students
• Exemplify the core values at all times
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Perform other duties as assigned by Head of School or Supervisor
• Provide class coverage for math instruction as needed, ensuring continuity of learning and support for students during teacher absences
• Demonstrated commitment to the educational mission, vision, and goals of Freedom Prep
