Friends of the Children – Western Montana is a nonprofit that delivers long-term, paid professional mentorship to children facing significant life challenges. Each child is paired with a dedicated mentor, or "Friend," who supports them from age four through high-school graduation—over 12 years of continuous guidance. The organization also advocates for youth in homes, schools, and the broader community, and offers wrap-around services to families to strengthen the support network. By combining sustained mentorship with comprehensive advocacy, Friends of the Children creates lasting generational impact and sets a high standard for youth development programs in the region.
