Security Officer

Friendship Public Charter School is seeking dedicated security officers for the 2025-2026 school year. They operate a network of charter schools and prioritize academic success through a culturally diverse, student-centered curriculum. The role involves maintaining a secure campus, ensuring staff safety, and handling various security-related tasks like patrols and incident reporting.

Requirements

• Experience in the role preferred
• Graduation from high school OR GED a minimum of 2 years of experience in security
• Police experience or higher education may be substituted
• 5-8 years of school security officer work experience
• Security Certificate or License or a valid District of Columbia Security Officers license issued by the Metropolitan Police Department
• Satisfactory criminal background check and drug test results
