Friona Industries Pen Rider is responsible for the health and welfare of cattle in the feedyard. This role involves daily observation of cattle, reporting sick animals, and assisting with shipment and maintenance. It's a field position focused on quality assurance and contributing to the overall success of the feedyard team.

Requirements

• Adhere to Beef Quality Assurance standards and procedures
• Observe livestock daily to recognize and report sick cattle
• Inspect water and watering system
• Assist with shipment and movement of cattle
• Care and maintenance of horses, tack, and facilities
• Ride and handle horses safely
• Observe and record livestock and pull if necessary
• Continuous observance of safety policies
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
