Job Description
Join Frontier in shaping the future of healthcare as a Medical Assistant. You'll educate and empower members on their healthcare options, work with a Provider to provide quality care, and coordinate with outside service providers.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Bilingual Spanish/English
- Experience working in a clinic setting
- Experience providing care to all ages, including pediatrics
- Proficient at performing a variety of tasks including electrocardiograms (ECG/EKG), phlebotomy, IVs, and injections (SC and IM)
- Extensive experience working with a variety of Electronic Health Record (EHR/EMR) systems
- Active BLS or ability to obtain within the first 30 days of employment
- Adaptable and open to change in process and technology
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with healthcare providers
- Certified Medical Assistant, preferred
