Frontiers is seeking a motivated Journal Specialist to join their team in Italy (remote) to shape the future of academic publishing. The ideal candidate will have exceptional written and verbal English skills, a relationship-building mindset, and a passion for open science.

Requirements

• Lead the full journey of article collections from concept to publication
• Build lasting relationships with editors and researchers
• Grow assigned Specialty Sections into field leaders
• Elevate team performance by sharing insights and participating in trainings
• Conduct outreach calls and engage in proactive conversations
• Enhance the author experience by responding to feedback and driving process improvements
• Evaluate editorial board composition and recruit new members
