Quality Control Technician responsible for ensuring products meet quality standards and specifications. Performs quality inspection and auditing activities, and provides training and guidance to production staff on quality standards and inspection procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and discrepancies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, pin gauges and torque gauges
- Microsoft and basic computer skills
- Strong skills in blueprint and part drawing interpretation, including understanding GD&T (per ASME) and accessing digital prints and drawings
