We are looking for a Test and Conditioning Technician to join our team in Torrington. The selected candidate will have a key role in the final stages of our manufacturing process, ensuring that our fuel cells perform in accordance with our specifications and are ready for shipment to the customer.
Requirements
- Perform integration of fuel cell modules
- Condition the new fuel cell, monitor the startup operation, and prepare the module for shipment to the customer
- Set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies
- Determine and develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams
- Test and troubleshoot assemblies including final systems
- Assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment
- Operate mobile equipment including forklifts, 60-ton Overhead Bridge Crane and other mechanical assisted lifting devices
- Maintain physical outdoor work site
- Places orders parts and materials used in the operations
- Inputs data into ERP and Work Management software
- Assists in writing procedures and other technical documents
- Perform predictive and emergent maintenance activities
