Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Economics

Furman University invites applications for a tenure-track position in the Department of Economics to begin August 1, 2026. The department seeks a faculty member with a commitment to excellence in teaching, student advising, and research in a liberal arts environment.

Requirements

• PhD in economics or a closely related field by August 1, 2026
• Ability to teach courses in economics, especially principles of economics, and at least one of the core Finance-Economics courses
• Five courses per academic year
• Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds
