Job Description
Fuse Energy is a rapidly growing company building a fully integrated energy company that combines energy generation with a decentralized, community-driven platform. They are seeking a Head of Engineering (Platform) to lead the development of their core backend systems and platform infrastructure, ensuring robust, high-performance platforms that power their products and services. The role involves leading the evolution of the platform for scale, performance, and reliability, as well as building real-time digital twins and data pipelines.
Requirements
- Proven track record as a senior software engineer or tech lead
- 5+ years experience in software engineering
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Experience building and operating production-grade systems at scale
- Strong understanding of system design, distributed computing, and cloud infrastructure
- Clear and proactive communication
- Hands-on problem-solving approach
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., AWS CDK, Terraform)
