Sr. Backend Engineer - Integrations & Platform

Join our Platform Team and contribute to building the backbone of our AI-powered platform, helping people get to better jobs faster and cheaper. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will design and implement scalable backend systems, eliminate manual operational work, and drive platform initiatives. Work remotely in Canada with the possibility of in-person meetings in Toronto.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of backend, platform, or integration engineering experience
• Strong backend development experience with TypeScript/Node.js and modern AWS services
• Deep understanding of distributed systems patterns and experience building integrations with third-party APIs
• Proficiency with at least one database technology for production systems
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills using logs, metrics, and tracing
