Job Description
Are you looking to advance your career with a world-class logistics provider? If so, you could be the right person to join our team in Piraeus, Greece, as a Road Dispatcher for Modern Freight S.A.’s Road Department.
Requirements
- Collaborate with the internal sales team to provide competitive rates and tailored transport solutions for customer requests.
- Coordinate daily transport needs with third-party transport providers.
- Plan and allocate shipments based on availability, cost, and service level agreements.
- Monitor transport execution and resolve issues such as delays or capacity shortages.
- Maintain accurate records in ERP/TMS systems (e.g., GACfreight).
- Communicate with international logistics partners and warehouse teams abroad.
- Ensure smooth workflow with GAC-Modern Freight warehouses in Greece for first and last mile operations.
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company policies.
- Enhance the company’s image through responsible and professional behaviour.
