Job Description
Galco Industrial Electronics is seeking an Electronics Technician to join their Repair/Engineering/Field Service department. They specialize in industrial, electrical and electronic automation, control and component solutions, offering same-day shipping and emergency service and on-site/in-house repair services. The role involves repairing and maintaining electrical equipment and fixtures, troubleshooting components, and performing preventative maintenance.
Requirements
- Repair electronic drives, controllers and pc boards
- Troubleshoot and test electronic components to board level
- Repair and/or replace electronic components to board level
- Verify repairs using start-up testing procedures
- Determine method and sequence of installation of electrical fixtures and equipment
- Analyze failures of electrical equipment
- Performs preventative and reliability centered maintenance activities
- Regularly required to sit, stand and lift up to 50 lbs.
