Job Description
This Senior Property Accountant will prepare monthly financial statements for various properties, manage bank reconciliations, and assist with budgeting and audits. The role requires strong analytical skills, communication abilities, and a familiarity with GAAP and real estate accounting principles. The position reports to an Accounting Manager and operates in a corporate office.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of three years of Real Estate accounting experience
- CPA/MBA preferred
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of GAAP and real estate accounting principles
- Experience with Entrata/Yardi
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Experience with bank reconciliation and accounting journal entry approval
