Job Description
The client is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Mechanical Estimator to join their team and support the accurate and timely preparation of cost estimates for HVAC, plumbing, piping, and mechanical system projects.
Requirements
- Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts to define project scope and technical requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to clarify objectives and gather necessary data
- Prepare precise and comprehensive cost estimates using tools such as AutoBid, Bluebeam, and Excel
- Analyze project needs in terms of labor, materials, and equipment; identify value engineering opportunities
- Present detailed cost proposals and support discussions with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain a regularly updated cost database to support accurate and efficient estimating processes
- Engage in ongoing training to enhance technical and sales capabilities
