Gatewood Wealth Solutions seeks a detail-oriented professional to join their Retirement Plan Consulting Team as a Retirement Plan Coordinator or Retirement Plan Consultant. The ideal candidate will partner with consultants, advisors, and the Investment Committee to deliver fiduciary oversight, plan governance, and strategic consulting. The role involves preparing for client meetings, managing meeting logistics, and developing a deep understanding of plan design, ERISA compliance, and recordkeeping operations.
Requirements
- Partner with consultants, advisors, and the Investment Committee to deliver fiduciary oversight, plan governance, and strategic consulting.
- Prepare and participate in client meetings, including fiduciary reviews, benchmarking, compliance discussions, and participant education sessions.
- Manage meeting logistics, take detailed notes, track follow-up items, and ensure accountability across internal and external partners.
- Develop deep understanding of plan design, ERISA compliance, and recordkeeping operations.
- Leverage retirement plan tools and reporting systems to generate insights, performance metrics, and benchmarking analyses.
- Support contribution updates, distributions, and amendments while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Identify process improvements and efficiencies that enhance client and participant experiences.
- Partner with the firm’s Tax & Accounting and Wealth Planning teams to integrate plan design and tax strategies.
- Assist in business development efforts, RFPs, and relationship management activities.
- Actively contribute to business development initiatives — including proposal preparation, prospect meetings, and relationship-building with centers of influence (COIs).
- Embrace technology, including AI and automation tools, to enhance deliverables and operational efficiency.
- Participate in special projects that expand your skills and understanding of institutional advisory work.
