Job Description
GCI is seeking an Information Governance Analyst I to manage an enterprise-wide information governance program, supporting LGC's compliance process and ensuring operational security. The role involves recording, classifying, and securing data, as well as training staff on governance and compliance best practices. This position is a key function within the Information Governance Program and offers support for legal and security matters.
Requirements
- Develop standards, tools, and governance for capturing, modeling, storing, and delivering data.
- Maintain GCI’s Record Retention Schedule, ensuring retention periods are aligned with legal requirements.
- Support information governance related initiatives, providing guidance for data classification and records management.
- Research questions pertaining to Communications Assistance to Law Enforcement Act (CALEA).
- Train and educate staff on governance information and managing records.
- Provide guidance to IG team to ensure collaboration with legal and IT departments.
