Job Description
We are seeking highly skilled and licensed Stationary Engineers to maintain the high-pressure boiler and chiller plants at Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital. This is a critical, round-the-clock role responsible for ensuring continuous, safe, and efficient hospital utility systems. Candidates must possess a valid City of Chicago Stationary Engineer License and a minimum of five years of experience.
Requirements
- Valid City of Chicago Stationary Engineer License (active and in good standing)
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience operating and maintaining high-pressure boilers and commercial/industrial HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of high-pressure steam systems and safety protocols
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
