Accountant

Experienced Accountant sought to work in a positive team environment with a 64-year-old company with 33 locations throughout Western United States. The position is responsible for ensuring transactions are posted correctly to the general ledger, maintaining financial records, and preparing financial statements.

Requirements

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger and financial records
• Enter day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accuracy
• Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Produce financial statements and reports for management or external use
• Assist with tax compliance, filings, and coordination with auditors
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards
• Process monthly and quarterly tax bills and licenses on agency sites
