Job Description
Geeks on Site is hiring a skilled On-Call IT Field Technician to provide support for residential and small business customers. Technicians will troubleshoot hardware and software, resolve network issues, repair printers, and perform general maintenance. This is a contract position with flexible scheduling.
Requirements
- Diagnose and repair hardware/software issues on Windows and macOS systems
- Resolve boot errors, OS issues, and login problems
- Set up or troubleshoot Wi-Fi and wired internet connections
- Reinstall operating systems using bootable USB or recovery media
- Install remote tools or shortcuts
- Communicate clearly with customers and provide basic post-service support
- Document service visits and escalate complex issues
