Job Description
Geeks on Site is seeking a skilled On-Call IT Field Technician to support customers in the Boston-Cambridge-Newton, MA-NH area. The role offers on-site support for both residential and small business customers, including PC, Mac, printer, and scanner troubleshooting, network setup, and hardware repairs. This is a 1099 independent contractor position with no guaranteed hours.
Requirements
- 2+ years of field IT support experience
- Familiarity with Canon, HP, and other common printer brands
- Knowledge of error code troubleshooting
- Experience with both Windows (10/11) and macOS troubleshooting
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
- Smartphone with camera and data
- Personal tools (bootable USB, screwdriver set)
