Job Description
GEICO is seeking an experienced Engineer with a passion for building high-performance, low maintenance, zero-downtime platforms, and applications. As an Engineer II, you will help drive our insurance business transformation and co-create the culture of psychological safety and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C#, or other object-oriented languages, Swift, Objective C, Kotlin
- In-depth knowledge of CS data structures and algorithms
- Strong desire and commitment to learning new technologies quickly
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving ability
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
- Understanding of existing Operational Portals such as Azure Portal
- Understanding of Operational Portals such as Azure DevOps Portal
- Understanding or exposure to continuous delivery and infrastructure as code
- Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle
- Understanding or experience with Gradle
