Sr. Work Control Planner

We are seeking a Sr. Work Control Planner to join our team supporting the Los Alamos National Laboratory. This position is full-time and will be based out of Los Alamos, New Mexico.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 12+ years of relevant experience
• Citizenship - United States (U.S.) citizen
• Clearance - able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance
• Extensive knowledge and experience in complex work control, materials management, and/or mechanical maintenance
• Thorough understanding of work hazards, safety practices, operating configurations, and Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO) policies and procedures
• Proficiency in utilizing computerized work management systems for planning and tracking activities
• Demonstrated ability to research, evaluate alternative solutions, and recommend resolutions for complex work control issues
• Ability to conceptualize and communicate key work control elements to both technical and non-technical personnel
• Exceptional skills in preparing and presenting work control reports
• Extensive knowledge of Laboratory work control and facility policies, practices, and procedures
• Strong understanding of legal requirements and environmental impacts affecting work control and planning
