Job Description
We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team supporting the DOE's Y-12 National Security Complex. This position is full-time and will be based out of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high quality detailed design packages, providing engineering procurement and field technical support, and providing expertise for troubleshooting and technical assessments of plant facilities.
Requirements
- US citizenship
- Government issued clearance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interface effectively with various clients, production and support organizations, management, and hourly wage employees
- Familiarity with consensus design codes
- Ability to work in a production environment
- Experience performing walkdowns in the existing plant facilities
