2026 Summer Intern – Computational Biology & Medicine

We seek a motivated research intern to join the immunology group of the Computational Biology and Medicine (CBM) team within Genentech's Research and Early Development (gRED) organization. Our team combines deep disease and immunology expertise with state-of-the-art computational analyses to investigate therapy responses, resistance, and mechanisms of action.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing a Master's or PhD degree (enrolled student)
• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis, visualization and statistical modeling
• Previous experience working in an HPC/cloud environment
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, ability to manage and document complex datasets
