General Atlantic is seeking a Graphic Designer to join its Marketing & Corporate Affairs team in New York. The ideal candidate combines strong design fundamentals with curiosity for data and conceptual storytelling; they can turn abstract or analytical ideas into visuals that inspire understanding and engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
- 3+ years of professional experience, ideally with exposure to the financial services or professional services sectors
- Advanced fluency in InDesign and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated ability to build complex, visually refined PowerPoint materials
- Strong portfolio in data visualization and infographics; demonstrating the ability to simplify and visualize complex, abstract, or data-heavy ideas
- Exceptional communication skills, able to engage with peers and senior stakeholders to understand feedback and business goals
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Comfortable working in an iterative, fast-moving environment and adapting design solutions through collaboration
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator; AfterEffects or Premiere a plus), PowerPoint and Word, and Figma
- Experience in agency or large in-house marketing environments preferred
- Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn, experiment, and thoughtfully challenge convention
