Assembler V

Assemble electronic and mechanical components, subassemblies, and assemblies, under minimal supervision, following specifications and quality control procedures. Perform various tasks such as wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing, and make continuity checks on work in process and completed work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 7 or more years of experience
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and wire lists
• Extensive knowledge in specialized functions
• Comprehensive understanding of the job and its technical phases
• Good knowledge of computer operations and applications
• Familiarity with soldering and compression connection tools
• Good visual perception and ability to distinguish between colors
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security clearance
