Engineer IV

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) is seeking a System Development & Test (SD&T) Engineer to join their team in Poway, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to work on novel and innovative General Atomics systems in a fast-paced environment with hands-on access to industry-leading Unmanned platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, master's degree, or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution
• 6 or more years of experience with a bachelor's degree, 6 years of experience with a master's degree, or 2 years of experience with a PhD
• Prior experience in a Test & Integration role for manned and/or unmanned aircraft platforms
• Previous flight or software test engineer with a qualification to perform tests for a military organization including prior Department of Defense (DoD) Developmental Test (DT) or Operational Test (OT) experience
• Experience as a test conductor, test director, test pilot/navigator or participation in a Combined Test Team (CTT) or Integrated Test Force (ITF)
• Thorough understanding of engineering concepts, principles, codes, and theory
• Ability to obtain and maintain US DoD clearance
