Machinist III

Under general supervision, the Machinist III performs moderately complex functions related to machine tools, including planning, laying out work, and operating various machines to exacting tolerances and dimensions.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent in a related field
• Four or more years of related experience
• Strong knowledge of machining equipment and ability to use judgment and safe practices
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, sketches, verbal and written instructions
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills
