Job Description
Electric Boat is seeking a Shipfitter to join their team. The successful candidate will work on building advanced submarines, interpreting construction drawings, and performing tasks such as layout, fabrication, and installation. The position requires a high school diploma or 2+ years of related technical experience, as well as 5+ years of shipfitting related experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or 2+ years of related technical experience
- 5+ years of shipfitting related experience
- Ability to interpret structural drawings, technical manuals, test documents and diagrams
- Must be able to work all shifts and in all environments as well as Radiological areas of the boat
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD secret clearance
