Job Description
This position is for a Welder-Journeyman with responsibilities including the fabrication of vessels, tanks, and other structural assemblies, welding various metal, and working in various physical conditions like heights and confined spaces. The role requires physical strength and alertness. Must be able to understand written and verbal instructions and follow safety regulations.
Requirements
- Previous welding experience or training is required
- Proficiency in two gas shielded FCAW welding processes (71T-1 and 811N3)
- Knowledge of welding characteristics of metal
- Ability to work at heights, confined spaces, and any assigned shift
- Ability to hear warning signals, read safety instructions, and comply with company policies
