Genesys is seeking a Senior Partner Manager for Global System Integrators (GSIs) and Strategic Alliances to expand and strengthen our partnerships with global alliance, BPO, and GSI partners in Japan. Reporting to the Director, Partner Sales Lead, this role plays a critical part in driving the go-to-market (GTM) strategy, deepening executive alignment, and accelerating joint growth with our global partners.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in partner sales, alliance management, or account sales in the IT or technology industry, preferably within the GSI ecosystem.
- Proven experience managing relationships with major Global System Integrators such as Accenture, Deloitte, NTT etc.
- Strong understanding of GSI business models, including practice development, co-sell motions, global contracting, and offshore delivery structures.
- Excellent skills in joint opportunity planning, pipeline management, and executive stakeholder communication.
- Solid understanding of the competitive landscape (Cloud, Contact Center, SaaS, CX transformation).
- Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce and LinkedIn.
- Hands-on experience developing joint GTM strategies and governance frameworks with global partners like AWS, Microsoft, and Google.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in both Japanese and English.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a matrix environment.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of SaaS economics and profitability.
- Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage cross-regional initiatives effectively.
- Ability to leverage digital tools, social media, and video engagement to strengthen partner collaboration and visibility.
