Job Description
Genpact is inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant- API Testing & Java Selenium Automation. The ideal candidate will help design and implement robust test automation frameworks, execute API and UI test cases, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.
Requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java for web applications.
- Perform comprehensive API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or similar.
- Develop and execute RESTful API test cases validating functionality, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bamboo, or equivalent).
- Analyse test results, log defects, and verify fixes.
- Maintain test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and test reports.
- Troubleshoot automation failures and suggest improvements.
- Support Agile ceremonies and provide timely status updates.
- Collaborate with product, development, DevOps, and business stakeholders
- Identify quality risks early and drive defect prevention rather than detection
- Support release readiness, production validation, and post-release analysis
- Contribute to process improvement, reusability, and automation acceleration initiatives
