As a Gensler Interior Designer, you will design functionally beautiful spaces for clients, combining creativity and technical knowledge with business skills and understanding. You will work on Hospitality projects and be an integral member of the design team.
Requirements
- NCIDQ/RID Certification required
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
- 10+ years of Hospitality interior design experience
- Proficient with Revit, SketchUp, 3D Studio Max and other modeling software programs
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Extensive knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications for Hospitality projects
- Extensive knowledge of interior construction documents for hospitality projects
- Advanced experience with construction administration for hospitality projects
- Procurement oversight for hospitality projects
- Advanced knowledge of applicable codes and safety considerations
- Project management and team leadership/mentorship experience
- Strong storytelling ability, both verbal and written, that conveys purpose and impact
- Strong graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas
- Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices
