Project Architect – Base Building – Senior

Gensler is seeking a Senior Project Architect to lead the creative efforts of multiple core & shell projects from initial marketing stages through construction administration. The role requires a strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and building structures, as well as proficiency in design software programs such as Revit, SketchUp, and InDesign.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of design or architecture
• 10-15+ years of diverse interiors experience with an emphasis on base building and interior renovation projects
• Experience delivering architecture projects for Government and Higher Education clients through all phases of the design process
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills
• Excellent written + verbal communication and client relationship management skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Collaborative and team-conscious
• Ability to handle difficult situations with tact, grace and style
• Registered/Licensed Architect (or in the process of taking AREs)
• LEED, Fitwell or WELL accreditation
• Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices
