Technical Designer (Job Captain)

Gensler Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Technical Designer (Job Captain) with a successful track record and architectural background to produce technical documentation and communicate project progress to team members.

Requirements

• Produce accurate technical and contract documentation for construction of projects
• Provide project team coordination for incorporating design intent into construction documentation
• Participate in construction administration, evaluate bids, conduct site visits, address technical issues and maintain quality control during construction
• Coordinate and Direct consultants, specification writers to meet overall project objectives
• Collaborate with Contractors, Fabricators and Regulatory Agencies /3rd party teams
• Utilize hand sketches and 3D software, and Revit to communicate design concepts
