Gensler is looking for a Technical Designer to join our growing Critical Facilities studio in our Las Vegas office. At Gensler, you’ll explore new ways of solving complex design problems, at both the conceptual level and in the technical realm, crafting solutions with integrated project teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a professionally accredited program
- 5-10 years of related architecture project experience
- Proficiency in Revit required, and experience utilizing other digital design tools beyond Revit
- Actively working towards achieving State licensure a plus
- Passion for sustainable practices and interest in working towards certification (LEED, FitWell, etc.)
- Organized, creative, collaborative, and independent with ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
- Strong graphic and visualization skills to communicate design ideas
- Knowledge of building codes, zoning, jurisdictional processes, building materials, specifications, and construction techniques is preferred
- Experience in construction document preparation and field observation is preferred
