Staff SRE/DevOps Engineer

GeoComply is seeking a Staff SRE/DevOps Engineer to spearhead their strategic cloud rearchitecture initiative, driving a comprehensive modernization effort with a focus on unwavering availability and peak performance.

Requirements

• 8+ years in DevOps/cloud infrastructure/platform engineering, including 3+ in a senior or staff-level role leading large-scale initiatives.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven hands-on experience with AWS and GCP (including multi-region architectures and GCP-managed services like GKE, Spanner, Pub/Sub).
• Deep expertise with Docker and Kubernetes, including cluster management and scalability.
• Skilled in Terraform, CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
• Strong TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and TLS knowledge; experience with IAM, network security groups, and secret management.
• Ability to architect and scale distributed systems (caching, database scaling, high availability).
• Advanced Python, Bash, and Go for automation; comfortable solving medium-level data structure/algorithm challenges.
• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and distributed tracing.
