Estimator

GPJ is hiring an Estimator to join their growing team. The role requires overseeing and coordinating estimating projects, interpreting conceptual designs, and delivering top-notch results. The Estimator will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather project information and specifications.

Requirements

• Participate in all aspects of fabrication estimating and bid preparations
• Follow GPJ estimating standards and policies
• Cost Analysis: Evaluate and analyze the costs of materials, labor, equipment, and other expenses
• Bid Preparation: Prepare detailed and competitive bids for projects
• Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of all estimates
• Vendor Management: Source and obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
• Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential risks and uncertainties in project estimates
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders
• Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports and presentations for management
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, cost benchmarks, and best practices
