Job Description
We’re looking for a detailed-oriented Technical Writer to create clear, engaging documentation that supports users of complex underwater systems. GeoSpectrum Technologies Inc. is a rapidly growing company that designs and manufactures state of the art underwater acoustic components, transducers and integrated end-to-end systems for maritime surveillance and exploration.
Requirements
- 3 years of technical writing experience and ability to simplify complex information
- Exceptional clarity and precision in writing, with a strong command of the English language
- Familiarity with S1000D specification is desired
- Experience in creating Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals
- Experience with XML-based authoring tools
- Awareness of Simplified Technical English
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple documentation projects simultaneously
- Organized with strong time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Curiosity and willingness to learn about GTI products and open to new tools and technologies
- Experience in Ocean Technology or Engineering is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word
