Field Engineer

GeoStabilization International is seeking a Field Engineer to support their geohazard mitigation projects. The role involves site investigations, geotechnical testing, data collection, reporting, and daily coordination with construction and engineering teams. The Field Engineer will travel frequently to project sites, applying technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geological Engineering
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and evaluate technical solutions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; familiarity with slope stability software (e.g., SLIDE) a plus
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative, proactive work style
• Willingness to travel up to 70% to project sites
