Job Description
Gerhart is looking for Heavy Capacity Field Service Technicians with experience in heavy capacity weighing equipment. This is your chance to work on challenging, high-impact projects and grow your career while getting rewarded for your expertise.
Requirements
- Perform a variety of field services including: installation, calibration, and maintenance of customer equipment in the field
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with heavy capacity systems
- Capability to lead projects and mentor peers on job sites
- Identify opportunities to help customers improve operations and provide solutions
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- General mechanical or electrical background
- Customer-focused mindset and a self-starter attitude
- Ability to work outdoors in all conditions (heat, cold, dust, and dirt)
- Familiarity with industrial service tools; welding experience is a plus
- Basic understanding of 120VAC/DC wiring
- Strength, stamina, and willingness to bend, crawl, and lift up to 50 lbs safely
- Desire to obtain a CDL after completing 1 year of employment (we’ll compensate current CDL holders)
