Job Description
Getinge is seeking a skilled Software Engineer (m/f/d) for their research and development department in Rastatt, Germany, to lead a software engineering team. The role involves developing complex medical devices (PEMS) in accordance with applicable standards and regulations and collaborating with adjacent departments. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to a life-saving healthcare solution.
Requirements
- Completed course of study in Medical Technology, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification
- Many years of professional experience in software development, ideally in the medical technology field
- Strong knowledge of software lifecycle (IEC 62304 and/or FDA QSR)
- Knowledge of relevant norms and regulations, specifically Quality management for medical products and G-P requirements
- Experience in software testing methods (e.g. ISTQB-certification)
- Good knowledge of Software Quality (ISO 9126 or ISO 25010)
- Understanding of CE and FDA approval requirements
- Structured and quality-oriented working style
