Mechanical Fitter

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our dynamic team in Brisbane, supporting our operations in steel manufacturing, processing and distribution. Requirements

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Fitter & Turner, or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in mechanical fitting within steel, FMCG, heavy industry, or industrial engineering
• Strong expertise with valves, pumps, actuators, hydraulics, and heavy plant equipment
• Proven ability to diagnose faults, conduct overhauls, and implement preventative maintenance strategies
• Ability to interpret drawings and work independently or within a collaborative team
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
• Tickets and other licenses are highly regarded (Forklift, Working at Heights, Crane)
• Current Australian driver’s licence and willingness to travel to project sites as needed
• Ability to lead teams and projects effectively, safety and to budget
