Job Description
GHD is seeking a Lead Chemical Process Engineer to join their team in Buffalo, NY, specializing in environmental, chemical, and petrochemical sectors. The role involves designing, procuring, and overseeing the lifecycle of chemical processing equipment, system start-ups, and troubleshooting process optimization. Collaboration with clients and internal teams is crucial, and mentorship of junior engineers is expected.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering
- 15-20 years of experience in Process Design (preferred)
- Proficiency in Engineering Design Software (Aspen Hysys, PipeFlo, Synergi Pipeline Simulator) required
- Knowledge of P&ID and process equipment installation drawings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
