Job Description
We're seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Senior Electrical Engineer (Building Services) to deliver impactful projects across Northern Australia and beyond. You'll work closely with our Team Leader, Building Services, providing technical expertise, design, documentation, and project management for a diverse range of infrastructure, buildings, water, transport, defence, mining, and other projects.
Requirements
- At least 6 years' + experience as an Electrical Engineer in the Building Services environment, and ideally with a consultancy background.
- Be a Registered Professional Engineer in Queensland (RPEQ) or have a mutually recognised registration e.g. (CPEng, RPEV).
- Deep knowledge of electrical standards, codes, regulations, and renewable energy solutions, with proficiency in industry software (AutoCAD, Revit, PowerCAD, AGi32/DIALux, Microsoft Office).
- Expertise in technical report writing, fee proposals, cost reporting, and stakeholder liaison, including local authorities and utilities.
- Strong communication and technical leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
- Outstanding client service skills, with a genuine enthusiasm for building relationships and driving business growth by delivering exceptional support and solutions to our clients.
