Job Description
GHD is expanding its engineering team in Qatar due to strong projects. The Senior Hydraulics Engineer will work on projects across infrastructure, buildings, transport, and more, ensuring successful delivery, client relationships, and regulatory compliance. The role requires a balance of independent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering focused on hydraulic systems
- Proven track record of successful hydraulic engineering projects
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, Elite)
- Strong knowledge of fluid mechanics, pipe flow, pump selection, and hydraulic system design
- Knowledge of stormwater management, water distribution, and wastewater systems
- Knowledge of local and international codes and standards for hydraulic engineering
- Basic understanding of HVAC works
- Strong report writing skills
