Job Description
GHJ Search and Staffing is seeking a skilled Controller to oversee accounting operations and financial reporting, reporting to executive leadership. The role is director-level and involves ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with U.S. GAAP. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach and strong financial planning skills.
Requirements
- Oversee the full general accounting function (cost accounting, cash management, financial reporting, balance sheet management).
- Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
- Manage budgets and forecasts.
- Prepare income statements and oversee transaction accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee and audit inventories.
- Drive process improvements and automation.
- Supervise accounting team members.
