Job Description
GHJ Search and Staffing is recruiting a Senior Accountant to join a client's private family office in San Francisco. The role involves managing the accounting and financial operations of a diverse investment portfolio, handling reconciliations, financial reporting, and more. The position offers a dynamic, collaborative environment with a focus on asset class and financial structure analysis.
Requirements
- Manage general ledger activity
- Reconcile brokerage and balance sheet accounts
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and analysis
- Oversee accounts payable and process monthly distributions
- Support quarterly tax estimates and annual tax compliance
- Maintain organized and secure electronic files
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Deep understanding of GAAP
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Excellent communication and organization skills
