What Awaits You?
- You ensure that our IT operation is secured in the context of IT support, mainly in the 1st level, as the central contact point and stand by our users with advice and assistance.
- You coordinate and prioritize incoming tickets in our ticket system.
- You ensure the permanent inventory of hardware and software.
- You are jointly responsible for the installation and configuration of operating systems on client end devices (mainly Microsoft).
- You also jump in when it comes to packaging and distributing software.
- You can also imagine taking over individual tasks from the IT infrastructure area.
- You also ensure that system documentation and the knowledge database are up-to-date.
What Do You Bring?
- You have successfully completed a training as (business) computer scientist, computer science application specialist, computer science technician or IT system salesman.
- Your knowledge of hardware and software, especially in the Microsoft environment (Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, Microsoft AD, group policies) is very good.
- You have already gained experience in the administration of software distribution systems (ideally with Matrix42 Empirum) and in the packaging of software.
- You bring knowledge in the areas of scripting and automation (PowerShell or batch scripts).
- You have solid network knowledge and can apply this particularly when solving problems.
- ITIL is no foreign word for you and you can implement parts of this practically.
- You have already mentioned knowledge or are interested in expanding it:
- Administration and configuration of M365 (Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID)
- Administration of Linux and macOS systems
- Administration of Windows servers
- Administration / handling of Jira Service Desk or Matrix42 Service Store
- Administration of IT infrastructure components, such as VMware vSphere, Veeam Backup, monitoring systems (PRTG), SAN and NAS storage systems, firewall systems and endpoint AV (Sophos)
- You have a very good analytical approach and a quick understanding.
- You have well-developed communication skills and can explain complex technical issues clearly.
- You enjoy sharing your knowledge, acquiring knowledge and like to hold a tech talk for your colleagues.
